🌞Bom Dia 😎
I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in Temple Talk with you all yesterday. Always appreciate the kind words, appreciation, and inspiration that’s out there floating in the cosmos🌌
As mentioned in the tagline, this week’s issue will follow the IRLMAPNAOS format: In real-life music art plus news and other shit.
I tried to keep it short and sweet → I failed. It is what it is 🤷♂️
Whether it’s IRL or the metaverse, I hope that wherever you are, the water is warm, the weather fine, and the coffee/tea is just how you like it. 🌊🥥🌴
Cheers

Clutter Magazine hosted a group show, C.R.E.A.M 2 (Cash Rules Everything Around Me), exhibiting defaced paper money art. Friend of the Temple family and Master of Owls, NiteOwl’s artwork was featured in the exhibit.
In other New York and owl-related news, NiteOwl is also being featured in and introduced me to the Positive Vibrations Art Exhibit, hosting more than 25 artists, graffiti legends, and pro skaters at City Point in Brooklyn, NY.
Beginning Friday, January 14th, the exhibit will be open until February 5th.
Here’s a 1/1 by NiteOwl, discovered in the n0madz collection. More owls 🦉 can be found on Manifold here.
Temple’s very own laser-turned-man, LaserLew, gets featured in UNDRGRND DIGS 057.
On a separate note, wen does this n0madz collect enough art to be worthy of an UNDRGRND membership pass? I know I could buy one off secondary, but I want to have earned one based on the merits of my collection. Purchasing one seems like cheating. I guess I have to collect harder, haha.
…
In other laser-related news and our first classified for the classifieds section, we are currently searching for a large warehouse or vacant building to house a large installation of lasers, glass, and other miscellaneous equipment. Time travel not included *wink wink*
Meow Wolf was mentioned as a pipe dream, then Temple Talk + JBurn happened, and suddenly it’s that much closer to reality. This is Temple. I will be following this story if/when it progresses.
Music Musings
We can’t talk about music this week without mentioning JBurn x Poptone Cyber soaring to new heights with their creation Crevices II 👇👇👇This also marks Poptone Cyber’s ETH genesis, and it goes hard in the paint, fam.
Minting is live, and at 0.02 eth per edition, we’re sitting at 40 editions minted. Burn 🔥 mechanics are guaranteed. I believe I heard hodling four should be enough…👀
…
In other music-related news, I went to check soundxyz (to see what was going on), and front page center Jamee Cornelia is featured with so many drops going live. I missed the boat, but holders of certain tokens get some sweet, sweet free mints.
I scooped a copy of Dizzy because it’s fire.
JBurn introduced me to Jamee’s music on Tezos, so the opportunity to collect a song by Jamee on ETH is a must-not-miss in my book.
Also, if you’re making music, then why no drop on sound.xyz? 👀👀
…
Hanging out in the Good News Show twitter space the other day, Matt Hixson introduced me to the latest addition to this n0madz’s wishlist - OMGKirbyDAO.
I’m not going to go into too much detail, but suffice it to say that this OMGKirbyDAO is creating generative lofi music 🤯
I haven’t read it yet, so here I am sharing without DMOR™ (doing my own research or reading), but here’s a Billboard article on OMGKirbyDAO for those looking for more info.
Art Appreciation
Free mint Friday from Props was Rainbow Maker by bubaviedma.
StudioBrooke crushes it with her OE Street Walkers: Passport Portugal series.
At 0.0269 ETH per edition, 105 editions were minted, and, of course, it should go without saying at this point but burn mechanics are guaranteed. To fully participate, you would have needed seven editions of this one artwork to then fully participate in the games that StudioBrooke has in store.

Paper Buddha Spotlight
PB’s first 1/1 drop on Solana for the new year, ‘Seance,’ closes out at auction to DKSNFTS for 10 SOL.
Having collected a 1/1 from PB on the three main blockchains, DKSNFTS has obtained the holy trifecta!
Taking a trip down memory lane to earlier this week, PB’s first 1/1 drop in 2023 on SuperRare for the ONBD exhibition ‘Portals’ closes at auction for 0.515 ETH.
Collected by a mysterious degen known only by the moniker TemplePunks, it appears that something is lurking in these Temple waters…
In other art-related news, Lazul and Bertismo collaborated on a new Spatial gallery, Don’t Ask Gallery, that opened yesterday. Please put on your finest metaversian duds and check it out!
ClownVamp’s first OE on ETH ‘Screentime’ (a Manifold contract, of course) closes with 907 editions minted for 0.033 each 🤯
If that doesn’t blow your socks 🧦 off, then I don’t know what will. Big congrats to ClownVamp, though. I love seeing OG Tezos artists getting some love and appreciation on other blockchains.

Ch0ke’s latest creation, the Winter ‘22 drop for his Canaan collection, is almost sold out.
At the time of writing, only one edition of Face Melter is available on primary for 50 tez. What a steal for any face-melting fans out there.
…
A couple Temple Talks ago, we were introduced to SnuffyNYC, who currently has an active drop called “lookingin.nyc”
ARE YOU WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE? OR ARE YOU WHO THEY THINK YOU ARE?
Blending research into personality types, extensive experience with tattoo art, and active collaboration between artist and collector, this degen is creating something special, fam!
Anyways, check ‘em out if you’re interest is piqued.
…
One of my new favorite peoples, Naomi Sea is Medicine, has a 1/1 available on Foundation, “The Best Things.” Sitting there for only 0.15 ETH, someone must rescue this gem from the marketplace.
News and Other S***
Found this little nugget on the internet re: Microsoft’s rumored purchase of part of ChatGPT:
FWIW, Microsoft has been early to the party on this one: back in 2019, they invested $1 billion into OpenAI.
For anyone interested in exploring all that ChatGPT has to offer, I discovered this Chrome extension, built by DataChazGPT, that “augments your prompts with relevant results from the web!”
So, basically, for those unaware, the version of ChatGPT that everyone is talking about has restricted access to live information. If I’m not mistaken, the internet it has access to is from 2019-2020. The Chrome extension mentioned above will add that up-to-date real-world information so that ChatGPT can refer to it.
TLDR: Quick ‘n Dirty Workaround for providing ChatGPT with real-time information.

I want to give a shoutout to fellow Tezos friend Kaloh.
has his newsletter on Substack, appropriately named Kaloh’s Newsletter, where he features news on digital art with a focus on generative art.I had already subscribed to his newsletter when I discovered this article, “Why Blockchain Art Supply is Radically Different,” which motivated me to upgrade to a premium membership.
Introducing a topic like digital art supply and placing it in a context alongside Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol and their prodigious bodies of work is eye-opening and illuminating and provides plenty of food for thought.
Kaloh was also kind enough to offer subscribers of N0 MAD NEWS and TEMPLE TIMES a discount code for any readers interested.
🎉congratulations 🎉you made it to the end of our newsletter.
I hope you enjoyed reading, and always happy to connect!
